Optometrists
Optometrists are doctors who examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and disorders relating to the eye. They test the eyes for defects of vision in order to prescibe corrective contact lenses or glasses. Opthalmologists specialize in the medical and surgical care of the eye. They manage optical diseases and can perform corrective surgery on the eye to improve the patient's vision.
